- Layout
- EFIS in the center
- Sequence is either displayed on the EFIS (via the G3X NTSC coax connector?), or
- Removable sequence card holder goes over half of the EFIS (depends on split-screen capability)
- Switches below the EFIS
- Fuel valve below the switches; make sure the control stick won't hit it when all the way forward
- Panel layout tool: https://www.frontpanelexpress.com/
- EFIS in the center
- Tilts Aft
- The top fastens to fuselage canopy bow with screws + nutplates, or bolts with self-locking nuts (may want sleeves around the bolts to avoid crushing the bow) or threaded inserts in the bow.
- Pivots about a hinge located above the fuel selector
- Fixed section on the left side for prop & mixture controls + air vent, of sufficient width to allow the panel to tilt all the way to the seat back if the stick is positioned in the left rear.
- Symmetrical fixed section on the right side for air vent.
- Bring the wires to the top of the spar box and then up to the panel. This 90-degree angle avoids straining the wires
- Removable
- Quick disconnects for wire bundles (ex: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/connectorkit11-14010.php…)
